TERRITORIAL DANCE.

A really enjoyable evening was spent by those present at the Territorial dance in" the Town Hall last night. The attendance was good, but might have been better having regardto the very deserving object —the establishment of a gym-nasium-pin aid of which the dance was given. There were about thirty couples dancing, and the programme, consisting of twenty dances and several extras, did not reach its conclu- . sion until early this morning. The hall was prettily decorated, the floor in good dancing order, and a very enjoyable supper provided. Excellent music was sup- . plied, partly by a section of the Te Awamutu Orchestra, and the .<' balance by several pianists. The , M.C.'s were assiduous iri • their attentions and no effort was spared to ensure the success of the function. ;■''. ■
