M R. R. H. BLIGH’S ADDRESSES.

Mr R. 11. Bligh, a lecturer on “Social Purity,” who is touring the Dominion under the auspices of the White Cross League, gave two addresses last night, the first for women at 7 o’clock in the school, and the second for men and lads over fourteen years in the Town Hall at 8.30. There was a good attendance in the hall, and the audience included the territorials who were drilling there that evening. The lecturer, who has a fluent delivery and a convincing style, treated the sex question from a medical and social aspect in a serious, manly, and thoughtful speech. His mission, though an unusual one, must be productive of a lai'ge amount of good from the thoughtful and able manner in which he discharges it. j
