BUTTER FOR CANADA.

A LATE SHIPMENT.

The demand which exists in Canada for New Zealand butter is demonstrated by the fact that two months after the export season was expected to close, a shipment of 1500 boxes is being sent away from New Zealand by the Marama, which was to sail recently for Vancouver. The produce is being shipped from the Auckland province. According to an Auckland merchant, it is quite possible that other shipments will be sent from Auckland later. At all events, the Canadian butter season closes in October, so that even if yesterday's shipment is the last for the present, it will not be very long before regular consignments will again be shipped.
