TE AWAMUTU TOWN BOARD. "MOTICEis hereby given that the Te Awamutu Town Board proposes to raise a-special loan under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908." The purpose for which the loan is required is to construct gas works and toacquire, erect, and construct all land, buildings, plant, and other things necessary or proper for the supply of gas. The sum proposed to be borrowed is £Booo. The proposed security for the loan is the gasworks, with the lands, buildings, and plant thereof and the revenues thereof after payment of working expenses and a special rate of five farthings, in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property of the Te Awamutu Town District. It is proposed that the loan shall be repayable in thirty years, and to make provision fdr the payment of a sinking fund of one per cent per annum.
