WAIPA GUN CLUB.
A-meeting of those interested in the formation of a gun club was held at Jackson's hotel last night, and the following appointments were made : —Secretary, Mr D. Edwards; treasurer, Mr J. Wrigley ; president, Mr J. Jackson ; vice-presidents, Messrs J. B. Teasdale, Bertram, D. McLean, Empson, E. Cox, Blennerhassett, A. Hyde, G. M. Ahier; J. Le Sueur, F. Quinn, H. Luks, F. Edgecumbe, M. Laurie, and A. Wallace; committee, Messrs J. Le Sueur, L. Bayly, F. Taylor, G. Mcllroy, A. Lloyd, Wrigley, H. Jull, and A. McMurray. The members' fee was fixed at ss, and it was decided to affiliate with the N.Z. Gun Club Association. Clay pigeon trans will be purchased, and piactices held as early as possible.
