ALLEGED THIEF OF SOULTORIA ARRESTED.

Patrick McManemin, a settler in the Waitomo-Hauturu district, was arrested on Sunday evening last by Detective Halke, of Auckland, and Constable Lander, of Te Awamutu, on a charge of theft of the racing mare Soultoria at Pukekohe on 25th June. The accused was brought into Hamilton yesterday, via Pirongia, by the arresting constables, and will appear before the Court there to-day.
