BEFORE MR LOUGHNAN, S.M
For being drunk while in charge of a gig John Petersen was fined £l and costs, and for being drunk Jas. Smith was convicted and discharged. For carrying liquor improperly labelled in a dry area Austin Morris was fined £l and costs. Frank Bright was fined a similar amount for the same offence.
A native named Wera was prohibited on the application of the police. A case against Charles Hewer of having a large quantity of liquor in his possession, for the alleged purpose of sale, was dismissed.
