At Pirongia on Monday last we had a medium entry of cattle, which nearly all changed hands. Prices 2% year heifers in calf £4 7s, 18 month empty heifers £3 7s, empty store cows £3 to £3 I2s6d, cows in fresh condition up to £4 7s 6d, calves £l 9s to £l 195 6d, 2 tooth wethers I2s Bd, weaner pigs 9s. OHAUPO SALE. At our annual sale of cattle and sheep for turnip stocking, held at Ohaupo on Tuesday, 7th inst., a splendid yarding of grown steers came forward, and, being well bred and in good condition, were eagerly competed for. Young cattle were rather dull of sale, but nearly all the sheep sold at auction or afterwards. Prices : Grown steers in forward condition £6 17s to £7 16s, 3 to 3Yz-year-old steers £5 16s to £6 I2s, 3-year-old steers, £5 5s to £5 Us, 2 to 2 steers £4 4s to 45 18s, fat cows £5 ios to £6, empty cows in forward condition £4 to £4 I2s 6d, store cows £3 to £3 14s, 20 months old steers £3 7s to £3 15s, well-grown calves £2 to £2 6s 6d, medium sorts £l lOs to £l 16s ; springing heifers £6 7s 6d to £6 17s 6d, fat ewes ios 6d to Ils 6d, forward empty ewes 9s 3d, ewe lambs 9s, lambs mixed sexes 5s id to 6s 6d. RANGIRIRI SALE. On Wednesday we held a sale atßangiriri, when 1273 head of cattle were yarded, a large pro portion being forward bullocks for which there was keen demand. All classes were wanted, and the total entry changed hands. Fat steers £8 I2s 6d to 9s 2s 6d, grown steers, in forward condition £7 to £8 2s 6d, 3 to 3% year old steers £6 5 s to £6 I5 S > 2 V 2 to 3 year old steers £4 18 to £5 16, 2 year old steers £4 2s 6d to £4 13s, 18 months old steers £3 8s to £3 14, year old heifers in calf £5 17 to £6 13s 6d, 2V 2 year old heifers £4 13s to £4 19s,
