BUSH SICKNESS.

EXPERIMENTS PROGRESSING SATISFACTORILY.

It is understood that very encouraging results are being obtained from the practical experiments which arc being carried out by the Agricultural Dspartment in reference to the suppression of bush sickness. Experimental animals on specially top-dressed areas have remained perfectly healthy and have grown and developed well, while central animals have developed the disease and died. These results have given the Departmental officers much valuable information, and, we understand, it is now intended to commence a further series of experiments, from which the best results are hoped for, seeing that so great an advance in the study of the disease has already been attained.
