CROQUET.

The Singles tournament which lias been in progress for some lime, was completed on Saturday last, and resulted in a successful

win by Mrs von Sturmer, who is now recognised as champion. This tournament will be the last of the season, but should the weather keep fine, there will be opportunity for many friendly games.

The following are the results of second and third and finals : Mr Collins's trophy.

Ladies'singles, 2nd round. — Mrs Reekie to play Miss Bertram Miss Bertram failed, Mrs Reekie a bye. Mrs von Sturmer played Mrs Woollass, Mrs von Sturnier won, Mrs E. C. Clarke played Mrs Battson, Mrs Cla;ke won, Mrs Empson played Mrs Collins, Mrs Empson failed, Mrs Collins a bye, 3rd round, Mrs Reekie played Mrs von Stunner, Mrs von Sturmer won, Mrs Collins played Mrs Clarke, Mrs Clarke won. Finals. Mrs E. C. Clarke played Mrs von Sturmer, Mrs von Sturmer won.
