KIHIKIHI.

(Own Correspondent.)

On Wednesday evening last Mr and Mrs J. Walker, gave a most successful dance and card evening at their residence. Almost a hundred visitors were present, and so keen was the spirit'of enjoyment that it was not until the small hours of morning that the party dispersed. Mr Walker has recently erected a large barn, and before making use of it for its legitimate purpose decided to allow the young folk of the district to test its quarters as an amusement hall. The more staid members of the party found plenty ot amusement in the different card games organised for their entertainment within the more cosy walls of " Ngamako."
