On Easter Monday a concert was held in the schoolroom, when songs, readings, and musical items were rendered by local talent; also several recitations by the school-children. A vote of thanks to the chairman and the singing of the National Anthem brought the concert to a close. An appetising supper provided by the ladies was then disposed of, when dancing was commenced and kept up till the small hours, the whole making a very enjoyable and successful gathering. '
