ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

ROSS—MONRO. A very pretty wedding took place on Easter Monday at the residence of Mr John Monro, Te Rore, when Miss Ruby Emmeline, fourth daughter of Mr Donald Monro, was united in the bonds pf holy wedlock to Mr John Ross, pf Te Palm. The Rev. W. Woollass was the officiating minister. Both the young man and his bride were born in the district, and consequently there was a large gathering of their friends to see the happy event. After the service was over, the party partook of a sumptuous breakfast, which was prepared by the bride’s aunt, Miss Monro. The usual toasts were duly honoured, and the happy couple left amid showers of rice and old boots, per motor car for Hamilton, where they were to take train for kotorua, for the honeymoon trip.
