EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY.
The production on Tuesday evening at the Town Hall was in every respect up to the usual standard that characterises the exhibitions of the Empire Company. A most enjoyable and instructive entertainment was provided, and thoroughly appreciated by the audience. For Tuesday evening next, another big batch of the latest picture treats in New Zealand will be shown. These will include a beautiful coloured study entitled "A Roman Tyrant," excellent scenic views of the Castle of St. Angels, Pathe Gazette Eugene Wrayburn, a splendid Edison drama, four or five highly amusing comics, several exciting dramatic items and others. As soon as the film is developed, a large number of magnificent views of the Ngaruawahia Regatta, the Territorial Camp and scenes in and around Hamilton, specially cinematographed for the Empire Company, will be shown in Te Awamutu.
