LAWN TENNIS.
The following will represent Te Awamutu in a match against Hamilton to be played at Hamilton on 16th inst. The team will go down by the 12.15 train and return by the train from Ngaruawahia regatta. Ladies: —Mrs Wicks, Misses B. McGovern, N. Bond. L. Bond, K. McGovern, and Mrs Cruickshank.
Men:—Cox, Johns, Peake, Cruickshank, Wood, and North. Any of the above who are unable to go are requested to notify the secretary (Mr E. A. Cox) at once.
Players engaged in the club tournaments are requested to arrange and play off their matches as soon as possible.^ The secretary has entry, forms for a handicap championship tournament at Rotorua, and will be pleased to receive entries. Entries must be in Rororua not later than 28th March. The tournament will be clayed on sth, 6th, Bth, and 9th April. A number of the local players intend making the trip.
The secretary is arranging matches with Pirongia and Paterangi clubs for the B team.
