EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY.
From week to week the Empire Picture Company treats its Pe Awamutu patrons to picture entertainments second to none in the Dominion, and the one given last Tuesday evening was no exception to the rule, in fact it is doubtful if anything better has ever been seen here. 9 hat really wonderful picture “Lost in the Jungle,” with its beautiful scenery and thrilling adventures with wild animals fairly astonished the audience and provoked loud and prolonged applause. The Palmerston North Military Tournament was also a splendid picture, as indeed were all shown. On Tuesday evening next, included in the very big programme will be a 2,000 feet exclusive drama entitled “The Circus Girl,” a picture in 53 acts, that has had a phenomenal run of success in Australia, and one that is said to be quite a revelation in cinematography. Patrons should roll up in big numbers as they are assured of a programme worth travelling a long way to see.
