MARIST BROS. OLD BOYS' CONCERT COMPANY.
The announcement that the above company intend to visit Te Awamutu during the New Year 'holidays will doubtless be received with pleasure by all. For several years past, this company has regularly visited Te Awamutu and given concerts for the benefit of the local Catholic Church all of which have been most highly appreciated, and we feel sure that the mere mention of the intended visit will be sufficient to assure the members of a most hearty welcome. - On Saturday, December 30th, a concert and minstrel entertainment will be held in the Town Hall atKihikihi, on which occaion a well-selected, and what gives promise of being a most enjoyable programme will be submitted. This programme will be repeated at Te Awamutu on Monday, January Ist, when the company appear in the local Town Hall. On the Sunday evening a sacred concert will be given in the Town Hall at le Awamutu, commencing at 8.30 p.m. The box plan for the Te Awamutu entertainment is now open at Le Sueur's, tobacconists. In addition to the splendid company which visited Te Awamutu at the beginning of the year, are several gold and silver medallists of the Auckland Competitions. The company is still under the direction of Mr P. J. Clarke. We feel sure that the good name that this company has established will be sufficient to guarantee a very large attendance at both entertainments and at the sacred concert on the Sunday evening. ' . *' The proceeds are for the local Catholic Church benefit, and this in itself will be sufficient to warrant the whole-hearted support of all.
