METEOROLOGICAL.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report :

Southerly winds. Weather cool and changeable. Probably showery. Glass rise.

On Saturday evening next the Town Band will play several selections, inthe main street, and we are requested by the management to invite all residents to be present on that occasion. A collection will be taken up in aid of the Uniform Fund, and we feel sure that support will be readily forthcoming in this direction. The members of the Band are untiring in their efforts to obtain uniforms, and the public will riot be slow to assist them in this direction.
