POST OFFICE CLOCK.
In respon s e to an inquiry the president of the Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce received the following telegram yesterday :- .
“ Plans of tower at Te Awamutu post office approved, and Public Works Department advised accordingly. —D. ROBERTSON, Secretary Postal Department.”
By this it would seem that the contractors will be able to proceed with the erection of the tower at an early date.
