TE AWAMUTU ' V. CAMBRIDGE CITY. The above match was played at Cambridge on Saturday in pouring rain. The greater part of the game was in the hands of the forwards. No brilliant play was shown, which was due to the slippery state of the ball. Kay scored for Te Awamutu, which was converted by Abbott. Phis was the only score, the game finishing Te Awamutu ... 5 Cambridge ... ••• 0 The match Kihikihi v. Cambridge Suburbs was also played on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Kihikihi by 3 to nil. CAMBRIDGE RUGBY UNION TE AWAMUTU DISQUALIFIED. At a meeting of the above Union last night the Te Awamutu Club was disqualified for Inc uding R. Cunningham in their team. It appears that this pLyer resides outside the boundaries, and on the Union being approached at the beginning of the season a reply was received that it was agreeable to. his playingprovided the Kihikihi Club raised no objection. Kihikihi raised no objection, but owing to a technical misunderstanding Te Awamutu has now beep disqualified, and all games won are not considered.
