CORRESPONDENCE.

(Our correspondents’ opinions are their own; the responsibility of editorial items makes stiff cicnt ballast for the editor's shoulders. It is necessary that all letters for publication should bear the name of the -writer — not necessarily foi publication, but as evidence of good faith.)

(TO THE EDITOR.) . SIR, —Have just read in your valuable paper of May 23rd, a letter from “ Silicas.” Was glad to see that an abler pen than mine had taken up this matter. Heartily agree with nearly all he says. At the same time, I respectfully beg to state it was in no spirit of censure to those in charge of “ God’s acre,” that my letter was penned, but in the hope that many would roll up and help in this much-needed work. —I am, DOMEM.
