WEDDING BELLS.

A pretty wedding took place at St. Bride’s Church, Otorohanga, on Wednesday. 31st May, when Miss Susie Morrisey, daughter of Mr John Morrisey, was married to Mr Robett Watkins. The friends of the contracting parties assembled af eleven o’clock, and on the arrival of the bride Miss Johnson played an inspiriting march, The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very winsome in a dress of soft cream voile, made with a transparent yoke of silk insertion. The skirt had a panel front trimmed with tiny silk buttons and loops, and the tucked sleeves were trimmed with insertion bands to match the yoke. Over her wreath of orange blossoms the bride wore the customary veil of tulle and carried a very pretty bouquet of roses and asparagus fern. Miss Lena Morrisey, chief bridesmaid, wore a pretty dress of cream silk muslin with a reseda hat; Miss Annie Morrisey also wore a cream silk muslin with hat to match. They wore pretty gold brooches, gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Albert Fenton acted as best man. After the ceremony, which was performed by Mr E. S. Wayne, the happy couple drove to the residence of Mr Morrissey, where a sumptuous luncheon had been provided. Mr and Mrs Watkin left in the evening for Rotorua, where the honeymoon is to be spent.
