WAIRARAPA DAIRY FACTORIES. The dairy factories in the Wairarapa are expected to close some weeks earlier this season than usual on account, it is said, of the short milk supply. Many of the farmers even now are reported to be desirous of being allowed to deliver their milk on alternate days. A Carterton farmer said the other day that the “ farmers recognise the value of drying their cows off earlier after the dry autumn and the consequent short supply of winter feed.”
