WEDDING BELLS.

VICARY—WYLIE. A very pretty wedding s 'took place at Kio Kio on Wednesday last, when Stanley Norman, second son of Mr Wm. Vicary, was united-in wedlock to Eva Jane, youngest daughter of Mr Wm. Wylie. The bride looked charming in a very beautiful dress of crepe de chine, with flowing bridal veil and bouquet. She was given away by her father. Miss Flora R. Vicary was bridesmaid, and wore a very pretty cashmere dress. Mr Vicary had his brother, Mr Thos. W. Vicary, for best man, and he performed his duties extremely well. The Rev. W. Woollass was the officiating minister. After the ceremony the wedding party was photographed, and then adjourned for breakfast, and a very satisfying repast was served and enjoyed by all. The toast of the bride and bridegroom was proposed by the Rev. W. Woollass, and heartily drunk, to which the bridegroom suitably responded. Also the health of the parents of the bride and bridegroom. The happy couple left by the express for Auckland, where the honeymoon is to be spent, after which they will settle down in their new residence at Marakopa. The bride wore a beautiful sage green costume, with hat to match, for her travelling dress.

RAMSAY—AUBIN. A very popular and pretty wedding was solemnised at Pirongia on Wednesday last, the contracting parties being Miss L. Aubin, daughter of Mrs J. Aubin, of Pirongia, and Mr A. Ramsay, of Tauwhare. There was a very large number of friends present at the Anglican Church, where the Rev. F. W. Clarke officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother (Mr E. Aubin), looked charming in white charmeuse satin. She was attended by Misses R. Aubin and L. Bell as bridesmaids and Miss Joyce Bell and Master R. Aubin as pages. Mr Alex Ramsay attended as best man. The bridesmaids were dressed in pink muslin de soie, and wore gold necklets (the presents of the"bridegroom). The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a pearl pendant of the best quality, the gift of the bride to the bridegroom being a goldmounted pen. At the ceremony the Wedding March was played by Mrs W. Bell, after which the party adjourned to the late residence of the bride, where the customary breakfast was served, and toasts duly made and responded to: Among the guests present were Mrs Dr Aubin, Mr and Mrs E. Aubin, Mr A. Ramsay, Mr and Mrs R. Ramsay, Mr and Mrs Bell, Mrs Geo. Aliier, Miss M. Ahier, and Mrs Allen. The wedding presents were both numerous and costly. The happy couple left for Christchurch by the express, where they Intend spending the honeymoon, the bride’s travelling dress being a brown cloth coat and skirt with hat to match.
