MAORIS IN FIJI.

THIRD TEST WON' BY SMALL MARGIN. SUVA, August 27. The Maori Rugby team won the third test, defeating Fiji by 6 points to 3, after a hard and fast game. Steele and Tuhoro scored tries for the Maoris and Fiji’s points came from a penalty goal. The game was more open than the other two games, but deadly tackling on both side prevented further scoring. The Maoris, with injured players, put up a stubborn battle to draw the series. Wetere, Steele, Murray and Wi Rfepa were the outstanding backs and McDonald, Matthews and Kenny the outstanding forwards.
