IDDO WINS MAY HURDLES. The AVanganui Jockey Club had a most successful meeting, the totalisator figures shoxving an increase for the two days of £3044 10s. Iddo (Mr AY. J. AYood) scored a good win in the May Hurdles, after fighting out the finish with Begorrah, another Haxvke’s Bay horse. Iddo was fifth favorite in a field of six. Clarion Call, xvho xvent out favorite, xvon the Wanganui Steeples, with Brigadore and Arctic Star in the places. A rank outsider in Wine Card, who started 12-12, xvon the Ashburton Cup and paid a nice price.
