FIRE AT ONGA ONGA
CONTRACTOR’S SHED DESTROYED. A fire, the origin of which is a mystery, early on Saturday morning destroyed a corrugated iron shed belonging to Mr H. AA’augh, contractor. The outbreak was discovered by Mr A. J. Parker about 1.30 a.m., when the flames had obtained a strong hold, and nothing could be done in the way of saving the building or its contents, consisting of a threshing mill, chaff-cutter and hay press. The property was insured but Mr AA r augh will be a heavy loser.
