CENTRAL HAWKE’S BAY ELEC. TRIG POWER BOARD. RETICULATION LOAN No. 2, 1937. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. JjfOTICE is hereby given that at a Meeting of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board held on THURSDAY, the 9th day of December, 1937, the following resolution, of which due notice had been given, was passed, viz.:— “In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: “For the purpose of providing additional monies for the further reticulation of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board district, the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board hereby authorises the raising of a Loan of Fifteen Thousand Pounds at 3J per centum per annum for a period of twenty-five (25) years. The said Loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by equal aggregate, annual or half-yearly instalments over the term of the Loan.” And notice is hereby given that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meetingl of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board to be held on FRIDAY, the 7th day of January, 1938, at the Board’s temporary offices, Ruataniwha street, Waipukurau, at 10.30 a.m. And further notice is hereby given in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1936, that no monies shall be borrowed in accordance with die resolution set out above if, before the 7th day of January, 1938, not less than five per centum of the total ratepayers whose names are inscribed on the ratepayers’ rolls of the several constituent districts within the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board district by writing under their hands delivered or sent by post to the office of the Central Hawke’s Bay Electric Power Board at Waipukurau demand that a poll shall be taken on the proposal.
