The Manawatu Racing Club eoneluded a most successful meeting yesterday. During the thro® davs the totalizator staff handled £100,509, an increase of £13.982 W* on last year’s turn-over. Siegmund registered his third.**® at the meeting by Annexing the Liver* j pool Handicap, a rank outsider JD Tail Light finishing second. Cricket, another outsider, won j final race of the meeting, the Chan* pion Hack * Handicap, winning * r .1 end to end. To-morrow’s racing engage*® JjjH rover the third day at opening* davs at Stratford, Hastings, and Masterton, single W 1 at Waikouaiti and Wyndbam. I
