THIEF’S HAUL.
HUNDRED POUNDS IN CASH. AUCKLAND. Last night. Between 5 p.m. and 10.45 p.m. on Sunday a thief entered the house of Hr Bridges, of Bridges, Overington anf l Co., butchers, and stole nearly UOO in money. Mr Bridges’ home is in Corbett e, Epsom. On Saturday ‘ * 5 o’clock Mr Bridges and left and did not return uiitil 10 U> p.m. He then found that bad; door was wide open. Tho money, which was placed in a bag and l( ‘ l? on the sideboard, was missing. had left the house locked. “It looked as though tho thief used elcton keys.” said Air Bridges ay. “11. just walked quietly ln an d nut again.
