CHANGE IN ADMINISTRATION. HAWERA, Last night. Following protracted negotiations by the South Taranaki Returned SoltHi; s’ Association and the New Plymouth association with the National Wav Funds Council, a new scheme of administration of relief to returned soldiers in distress, from patriotic funds, is tc operate in Taranaki. Hitherto relief through the funds has been administered by the central executive located in Stratford, with a paid secretary. Under the new scheme the funds allocated to Taranaki will be administered by the Returned Soldiers’ Associations, with the central controlling executives in the north and south respectively actbig in an honorary capacity, thus uffc ding the maximum possible benefit from the funds available.
