TRANSPORT LAW.

CENTRAL LICENSING BOARD APPOINTED. WELLINGTON, This day. The Minister of Transport, Rt. lion. J. G. Coates, announced yesterday that the following had been appointed members of the Central Licensing Authority in accordance with the terms of the Transport Act of last session:— Mr Justice Frazer, President of the Arbitration Court, chairman. Air S. S. Allen, solicitor, of Morrinsville, and formerly Administrator of Western Samoa. Mr H. B. S. Johnstone, farmer, of “Springbank,” Otaia, Wai* mate, and ex-chairman of the Waimate County Council. The personnel of the nine district licensing authorities will be announced in a few davs’ time.
