Water connections have been made to Mr Bibby’s residences in Kenilworth street, and connection and meter fixed to water trough for Mr F. Peters. The fence between the lodgeroom and Council property has been repaired and conoretfl path ex-

tended to the morgue. The culvert crossing the road in Kenilworth street, being completely rotten, has been taken out and sides and bottom of new one have been made in concrete. Instructions have been given to have the work on list of works recommended carried out.—Footpaths in Domain and Windsor Hill roads, footpath in Bibby street and road repairs in Collins street. It was decided to leave the work of forming path to traffic bridge and entrance to Coronation Park to the incoming Council. Had the weather kept fine the water main extension in Waverley, Mathews and Domain roads would have been completed by the end of this rveek. The Council having purchased the adjoining section I would suggest that a shed be erected at the back end for storage of horse feed. The one at the waterworks is far too small and in no way rat-proof. In regard to the last clause the Mayor said the Council should consider whether a shed for the storage of horse feed was sufficient.
