No entry will be received for any Race except upon the condition that all claims, disputes, and objections shall be determined by the provisions of the “Rules of Racing.” Jockeys for Jumpers’ Flat Race eligible under Part VI., Section 8 (a), Rules of Racing. All Nominations made by telegram or telephone must be confirmed by letter immediately afterwards. Rules of Racing.—Part XV., Rule 13: By the entering of a horse, every person having or subsequently acquiring an interest in such horse, shall be deemed thereby to undertake, neither directly nor indirectly, to make any wager with a bookmaker in connection with such horse, or any other horse in the race in which such horse is so entered. Each entry shall contain, or if it do not contain shall be conclusively assumed to contain, such an undertaking, breach whereof shall be deemed to corrupt practice on the turf within the meaning of Part XXXII. of these Rules. PENALTIES. The winner of any Flat Race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs.; of two or more such races, lOlbs. HACK DEFINITION. No horse shall be. eligible to start in any “Hack” Race which has won a race of the value of £250 or races of the collective value of £SOO at time of nomination. The amount won by any horse in flat races, hurdle races, or steeplechases respectively shall not "ender such horse ineligible except in the special class of race in which it has won such amount. H.
