MURDER CHARGE.

Hubert Algar Storey, aged 21, appeared at Bow Street on a provisional Warrant charging him with the murder of Frederick Charles Walter sonic time in June when serub-eut-linu at Bungee, Queensland. Storey pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody for a week. (Meanwhile, the police are communijating with Queensland for further identification data. Inspector Humphries gave evidence that on September sth, with two sergeants, he boarded the Sydic at (iravosend and interviewed acWitness said lie had a warrant fur the arrest of James Morris Kelly for the murder of Frederick Charles Walter in Queensland. Accused denied everything, and said he had migrated to Austialia in July, 1925. He did all sorts of work, including scrub-cutting, hut at Gowrie, New South Wales, more than a year ago. He denied having known or heard of Walter or used the name of Kelly. He was in Sydney in June and part ,f July. Inspector Humphries was 0 f opinion that Storey was identical nith Kelly. When charged Storey declared, “Yon have made a mistake.’’ Storey, from the dock, said: “I frill have no trouble in proving I am Storey fro : Kentisbtnwn. T do not fear anything from Sydney.” Walter was also a migrant. The last record at Australia House was three years ago, when Storey was working on a farm near Inverell, New South Wales.
