Mr Ben Tillett, in his annual report to the Dockers ’* Unjon, strongly animadverts on the want of unity within the Miners’ Union in the recent strike, which destroyed action

carefully planned by the Triple Alliance. The Miners’ Union needed amalgamating more than any other. Mr Tillett suggests co-operation between the great trade unions to deal with unemployment.—(A. & N.Z.)
