The course is in good order and there is a large attendance. Results:— First Hack Hurdles.—Yankee Jack 1, Papanui 2, Multicipal 3. Scratched: Munster. AA 7 on by four lengths. Time, 3.12 3-5. N.Z. St. Leger Stakes. —Afterglow 1, Star Lady 2, Almoner 3. The only starters. AVon by two and a-half lengths. Time, 3.0 Plunket Nursery Handicap.—Red Pepper 1, Some Kid 2, Ermine 3. AA'on by a neck. Time, 1.0 1-5. Thompson Handicap.—Sasanoff 1, Spanner 2, Rude 3. Scratched: Red Ribbon, Rebekah. Won by a neck. Time, 1.38. Challenge Stakes.—Warplane 1, Affectation 2, Printemps 3.
