HOME-MADE STOCKINGS.
A woman who keeps her wits about her is now engaged in providing a small clientele of acquaintances with homemade stockings to match their jerseys, and in this way is making a little poc-ket-money. She buys the thinnest make of jersey cloth procurable, and cuts out the stockings from patterns made by herself, seaming them with a machine attachment. A pretty touch is given to tho stockings hy the addition of handembroidered clox or instep decorations.
