COLORED LABOR.
EMPLOYED ON THE RAILWAYS. (Per Press Association). TIMARU, This day. The local branch of the Engineers’, Firemen’s and Cleaners’ Association resolved emphatically to protest against the action of the Minister of Railways and the National Government employing foreign colored labor on the railways. The resolution urges that this is an unpatriotic action and creates a grave menace to organised labor.
