Brewe*, y," Witherow, J. Craig. BY-ELECTION. Cr. Tricklebank wrote resigning his on the Council. —Received. The town clerk read thp result of •he poll, and the Mayor extended a hearty welcome to Cr. Craig, hoping lhat h p would work harmoniously the Council. Cr. Witherow added his rongratulaand Cr. K Wilkins, resigned, through Mr Kirbnss, Masterton. ■ We recommend for the Council’s Knrovsl the appointment of Mr G. Kris, of the Ashburton gasworks.
