INSPECTOR CUFF’S REPORT. Following is a summary of Inspector Cuff’s monthly report to the Hawke’s Bay Rabbit Board:—Lindsay: Killed one on Jack’s and one on Baird’s, started one on Sabin’s and one on Littlejohn’s, killed one on Rood’s. Tikokino: Started two on Gwavas, killed one on Walche’s, killed one on Hynish. Kereru: Saw traces on Turnbull’s, on the Rualiines, killed one on Olrig. Salisbury: Killed two on Clarkson’s, saw traces on Price’s and Anderson’s, killed two on Ben Lomond, saw traces on Lockie and McPhee’s, saw traces on Maraekakaho station, started two on J. McFarlane’s, through Nestor’s and Herbert’s, killed two and saw traces in several places on Hollis’ (late Orr’s), killed two on Gregg’s, killed three on Jamieson’s, killed two on Glencoe and started two others, saw numerous traces, killed two on Goodwin’s, and saw traces, killed one and started two others on Smyth’s, through Roach’s, killed one on Gwavas, and one on Campbell’s. Wharetoka: Killed one, started two others and saw numerous traces. Tikokino: Saw traces on J. Hard’s, Matthews’ and J. Holden’s, also on Smedjey, started one on Houston’s. Spring-hill: Killed one on Gillespie’s, saw traces and started one on Coles’, killed one on Patton’s, saw traces on Green’s and E. Bibby’s, killed three on Lowndes’, saw traces on Joblin’s, Caldwell’s and Tucker’s, killed one on Tait’s and saw traces on Leache’s, killed two on McDonald’s and one on McLeod’s, started two on Harris’. Forest Gate: Killed two on Pettit’s, saw traces on Beachen’s and J. Bibby’s, started one on Inglis’ and one on Asheott at the Tuki Tuki hush.
