The Chicago "Inter-Ocean” writes:-^ That women never talk about the men. but that men, on the other hand, am always talking about the women, wa» the statement of Mrs Charles Hcnrotto last night to members of the Illinois Woman’s Press Club in her paper 0* “The Readjustment of the Family Rela* tion.” “Woman is strangely sitont about th® opposite sex,” said Mrs Henrotfn. “Shm talks little about men or the deepe» things in life. In the home, in the clubw in society, her talk concerns her kin*. But this is not so with the man. He is always talking about women. Yog, all the men do, from the President of the United States down to the common, everyday man. “Men say that when they want to have a good time they want to get off hy themselves. This is one of the thing® that lead to disagreements between hugband and wife. The family Is broke® up into individuals, each concerned with the happiness of himself. “The original idea of obedience is n» longer adhered to. The husband, tha wife, and the child is held responsible unto himself. Parents look at thehfr children from an impersonal standpoint. If they are unruly the parent no longer takes the responsibility to correct tlw* child hut leaves the correction to < tl»«
