The widow of Mr Robert formerly of Christchurch, has bequeathed a fund tc provide pensions for clergy, men in New Zealand upon reaching the ago of 65 and annuities for olergyuien’i widows. The death is announced of Mr Q Morrison, of Kaikoura, at the age oj eighty-seven years. He was boro Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotlaud, and cam, to New Zealand in 1857. Ho bought the Tullooh Mains property, near Kaikoura, and was the first settler to eho« the great capabilities of the Kaikoun swamp land.
