At the meeting of the committee Messrs B. Shadbolt (chair), Bailey, Gilbertson, Chambers aud Grosvenor were present. Applications wore received from seven bookmakers for licenses. At a meeting of the match oommittee of tho Waipawa Rifles, on Friday, it was decided to cancel tho match Bet down lor Wednesday next, 15th April, and that it take place ou Good Friday, 17th, shooting to oommeuoe .at 10 a m. aharp. It was also decided that these competitors who did not complete the second match and the first raDge of the last match, last Wednesday, will have the opportunity of doing so after the third match is completed. There will be range prizes for each range.
