HAWKE’S BAY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY. DEER-STALKING SEASON. LICENSES to shoot Red Deer Stags only can be obtained from the Chief Postmaster, Napier, on payment of a license fee of £5. No license holder is entitled to shoot more than 2 heads of not less than ten points each. The season will commenco on Maroh 9th, 1907, and close Aoril 20th, 1907, both days inclusive, subject to the provisions of the Animals Protection Act, 1880, and the amendments thereto. Each licensee must notify the Chief Postmaster, Napier either by post, telegram, or delivery of the date on which it is his intention to stalk deer throe clear days before such date. C. A.
