Napier v. Waipawa.

The Napier and Waipawa players tried conclu ions on the local green yesterday, when each club was represented by four rintys. The visitors completely outclassed the home players, the scores being Napier 114 points, Waipawa 58 points. Only one Waipawa ripk, that skipped by Murray, was successful, winning by three points. In the afternoon another drawing took place, each rink meeting a different one, when the Napier players piled up 109 points to their opponents’ 61 points. On this occasion the rink skipped by Page squeezed home by one point. Afternoon tea was dispensed by Mrs Bull, Miss Dawson and Miss Shanly. The Napier players expressed themselves well satisfied with the green, which was in good order considering the recent rain. After the games, Mr Alfred Dillon, president of the olub, made a few felicitous remarks and congratulated the visitors on thair victory. Mr W.
