Trial Hurdles, If mile —The Mohican 9-11 1, The Guesser 10-9 2, Moeraki 9-9 3. Scratched—Mishap. Won comfortably. Dividend £2 7s. Winter Cup, of 500 sovs; 1 mile.— Mahutonga 9-10 1, Shrapnell Shell 10-5 2, Blackstone 9-8 3. All started. A good finish, won by a head. Time 1.45 3-5. Dividends £6 7s 6d and £4 16s 6d.
Grand National Steeplechase, of 1000 Bovs; 3jt miles.—Slow Tom 110, I,* Pipi 10-0, 2; Victory 9-11, 3.
