NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Order was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waipawa County Council held on the 6th of J uly, 1904, making and levying a Special Rate of One Third of a Penny in the £ upon the ratable values of the ratable properties in the Tuturewa Road Loan Special Rating District, comprising Sections 6,6, 7,8, 9, and 10, Block V., half of Section 8, Block 1., and half of Section 1, Block VI., Maugatoro S.D., for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund on a further loan of £95 (such loan being 10 per centum of the original Tuturewa Road Loan of £950) to complete the construction of the Tuturewa road. The period of the loan is 4] years, and the rate of interest 4 per cent per annum.

A meeting of the Council will be held iu the Courthouse, Waipawa, on the 3rd of August, 1904, to confirm this Special Order, a copy of which can be seen at the County Office, Waipawa, up to that date. NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order was passed at a special meeting of the Waipawa County Council, held in the Courthouse, Waipawa, on the 6th day of July, 1904:- “ That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1886, and the ‘ Water Supply Act, 1891,’ the Waipawa County Council hereby resolves as follows : “ That for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund on a loan of £IOOO authorised to be raised by the Waipawa County Council under the provisions of the ‘ Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901 ’ and its Amendments, for the construction of water races in the Forest Gate Estate Water Race District, the said Waipawa County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of One Penny in the £ upon the ratable valuations of all ratable property of the Forest Gate Estate Water Race Special Rating District, comprising Sections 1,2, 3, Block XI, Sections 1,2, 3, Block XII, Sections 4,5, 6,7, 8,9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, Block VIII and 50 acres of Section 2, Block VIII of the Ruataniwha S.D., and that such special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the Ist day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 41 years or until the loan is fully paid off.” “That the rate of interest shall be 4 per cent per annum.” “ That the cost of raising such loan and the interest for one year during the construction of the water races shall be paid out of the loan.” A meeting of the Council will be held in the Courthouse, Waipawa, on the 3rd of August, 1904, to confirm this Special Order, a copy of which may be seen at the County Office up to that date. WAIPAWA COUNTY COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that a Special Order was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waipawa County Council, held on the 6th July, 1904, making and levying a Special Rate of five-six-teenths of a penny in the £, upon the ratable values of the ratable properties in the “ Mangahe Road Loan Special Rating District ” comprising sections 1, 2,3, 4,5, 6,7, 9, Block I, sections 1,2, 3,4, Block V, half of section 8, Block I, and half of section 13, Block 11, Mangatoro S.D., and section 2, Block VIII, Tahoraite S.D., for the purpose of providing interest and sinking fund on a further loan of £122 (such loan being 10 per centum of the original Mangahe road loan of £1227) to complete the construction of the Mangahe road. The period of the loan is 41 years and the rate of interest 4%. A meeting of the Council will be held in the Courthouse, Waipawa, on the 3rd of August, 19C4, to confirm this Special Order, a copy of which can be seen at the County Office up to that date.
