Notwithstanding the unfavourable weather experienced by the Waipawa Athletic Club for their sports meeting, it is satisfactory to find that the gathering was a financial success. Tho following players havo beon chosen to represent Waipawa in their cricket match against Waipukurau, on Wednesday next: —J. Bibby, 11. Collett, Carne, McKay, O’Reilly, Oliver, Pettit, Ryan, H. M. Rathbono, Withorow, and Wolstenholmo.
