Entries for all events, addressed to the Secretary Takapau Racing Club, will he received up till SATURDAY, 12th December. Weights declared on FRIDAY, 18th December. All entries must be accompanied with the full amount of entranoe fees, or they will not be entertained; also with names, ages, sex, pedigree, aud performance of the horses, together with the oolours of the riderß. Metropolitan “ Rules of Racing ” strictly adhered to. Protests (if any) must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of disputed event. A deposit of 40s shall accompany each protest. All raoes are for hacks only. Hack shall mean a horse that has never won £2O in one stake ut time of starting. A limited number of permits, not to exceed seven, will bo issued to approved bookmakers at two guineas eaoh. Permits must be obtained from the Secretary before 11.30 a.m on day of raoes.
